I highly recommend sharing such an experience with Rezan

My most recent travel experience took me to the heart of Peru. In both a literal, physical way and a more metaphorical, spiritual one. Throughout it all, Rezan has been a caring guide, leading us into the deep jungles of the Amazon or among the Inca ruins. Thanks to Rezan’s amazing skills of building an entire experience and not just a plain itinerary, his retreats will nurture a traveler’s heart and mind, encouraging him to test his limits and expand his view of the world.

Day 1 - Welcome to Lima, Peru’s capital

After the long flight, we will arrive at Jorge Chavez International airport and from there to a cozy and beautiful neighborhood of Lima. Get some rest, our Peruvian adventure is about to begin!

Day 2 - Explore Lima and get ready for a change of scenery

Waking up to greet the Peruvian sun, to have some delicious breakfast and to explore the capital of Peru - the beautiful Lima - with its historical cathedrals, the presidential palace, and all the rituals that create the rhythm of everyday life. Taking the positive vibes with us, we will head directly to the airport to enjoy a short flight to Cusco - where we will rest in a beautiful hotel located in the historic center.

Cusco is one of the most famous sights of Peru. Also known as the capital of the Incas civilization, the city will welcome us warmly and we will have plenty of time to discover it. Up high at 3300 m, Cusco is the perfect place for long walks, delicious meals, and a great place to gently acclimatize. Bonus! Day 5 - Get ready for the famous Salkantay Trekking

On this day we will start our 3 days journey to Machu Picchu. What does it mean? We will follow the steps of Salkantay Trek, enjoying and exploring what Peru has to offer: wonderful nature, people, and energy! The first day of the trek will start in a van that will take us to Mollepata. There we will enjoy a home-cooked breakfast and pack some goodies for the day. After that, we’ll start our adventure in Challacancha. The first part of the trek will end in Soraypampa, where we will spend the night in a lodge, enjoying a cup of coca tea and some delicious and nutritious local cuisine. Tukarhuay Lake and the Tukarhuay glacier are other amazing spots that we will experience during this trek along with the Salkantay glacier, one of the most sacred mountains in Inca mythology. Today’s adventures will help us acclimatize for the rest of the trek and have the chance to sink in the dazzling Peruvian landscapes.

Day 6 - Vibrant hike from Soraypampa to Colcapampa

The highest camp from our journey! After a delicious breakfast, we will prepare for the longest day of trekking on our way up to Abra Salkantay. Spectacular views of the mountains and the glaciers of Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay, and Pumasillo will conquer our souls forever. Nature will reveal itself in front of us and we will be melting into the picturesque villages of Chaullay and Wayramachay.

Day 7 - Enjoy the Peruvian landscape - hike from Chaullay to La Playa - drive to Lucmabamba

The last day of the hiking trail will lead us from Chaullay to La Playa and then to a unique experience: the coffee plantations from Lucmabamba - a truly incredible experience in the tropical jungle. We will spend the night in a traditional accommodation where we can enjoy cultural experiences with the native people - farmers from the coffee plantations, farmers from banana and granadilla plantations. Optional: visiting Santa Teresa village and some natural hot springs before a relaxing and restful night.

Day 8 - Nature splendors & powerful energy of the ancient Inca trails

Pack your wishes and your good mood and let’s go! A walk 700m uphill will lead us through abundant natural sceneries: trees, flowers, tropical plants, coffee, and banana plantations. Feel the beauty of the place and the powerful energy of the ancient Inka trail on our way to Machu Picchu. Take a moment and enjoy the railway line that leads into Aguas Calientes and the main Inca Complex which will be explored after a good night's sleep…

Day 9 - Breathtaking wonder of the modern world: Machu Picchu & Return to the Sacred Valley

A moment to remember and to be told to all your family and friends back home. Visiting Machu Picchu on a guided tour and admiring the spectacular landscape view of the Machu Picchu Mountain. Day 11 - The last day in the Sacred Valley & return to Cusco

Morning and afternoon are free for your mind to relax, your body to rest and your heart to be filled with the most beautiful feelings and to connect with the energy of the place. During the day, you can go on a trip to the Capital of the Inca Empire or, in the evening, you have the option to go to Cusco Planetarium or attend a cooking class. Various workshops can be visited: bee-keeping, guinea pig farming, textile and weaving cooperatives, chocolate production, and pottery workshops.

Day 13 - Titicaca Lake & 1 night on a boat trip

Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and the largest in South America. All the landscapes are truly breathtaking, watching the sun setting or rising is a spectacular moment, and the night spent on the boat will be a truly unforgettable experience filled with lots of joy. Delicious food and a cup of coca tea won’t miss. Just lay down and enjoy the ride!

Day 14 - Taquile Island for lunch & return to Lima

Sailing across the Titicaca Lake to Taquile Island for a relaxing hike with a quick stop in the main village for some photos and a visit to a textile workshop specifically designed by the islanders. Delicious lunch and then we are ready to head back to the mainland for our evening flight back to Lima.

Day 15 - Transfer to Lima airport & flight to Pucallpa

Another part of our Peruvian journey is about to begin - a unique experience in the wilderness of this country. We will arrive in the jungle city of Pucallpa with bustling markets and relax by the pool. Optional visiting to the nearby Yarinacocha lake to see the tropical rainforest, birds, monkeys, and caimans. Relax and get ready for the trip to our retreat further into the jungle.

Day 16 - Travel to Sanctuario Huistin - Ayahuasca ceremony #1

Meeting our local guide who will show us the surrounding area as we travel by boat on the river Pachitea. A short trek into the jungle to reach our destination: the retreat where we will stay for the next 3 days/5 days. In the evening we will proceed with the first Ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 17 - Relax exploring the nature & wilderness

This day is for relaxation only and for discovering the splendor of nature that surrounds us. There will be no ceremony conducted by the Shaman for our mind and soul to take some time to settle, to sink into the whole experience, and to enjoy the magic of the moment.

Day 18 - Sanctuario - Ayahuasca ceremony #2

We will enjoy our second Ayahuasca ceremony at around the same time as the first one. We will let ourselves breathe and connect with the energy within ourselves.

Day 19 - Relax exploring the nature & wilderness

The jungle has so many gifts to offer. Take your time to discover everything, sleep or just enjoy the deep relaxation that happens naturally when we are surrounded by the chirping birds in the heart of nature.

Day 20 - Sanctuario - Ayahuasca ceremony #3

Our third and last Ayahuasca ceremony gently guided by our Shamans will complete the experience of the Peruvian traditions and beliefs. Take a moment for yourself and just be.

Day 21 - Return to Pucallpa airport & last night in Lima

Leaving the jungle behind we will head back to Pucallpa and then to the capital city of Lima for all those who wish to spend an extra day in Peru.

Day 22 - Fly back to Europe

Our last day in Peru should be celebrated with a visit to the bohemian district of Barranco and, of course, one of the amazing restaurants in the area. Enjoy a laid back evening and say goodbye to the Pacific Ocean for now. Keep the memories Peru has offered to you next to your heart, be thankful for allowing yourself to embark on this life-changing journey, and open your heart for the upcoming adventures!
